This is one of my favorite pictures of any Red Wing player ever. Like, I’m not even exaggerating. I love it so much. Why? Because it says so much. Look at how Brendan is looking at Nick. He’s giving him his absolute, undivided attention. It’s awesome because it’s a rookie defenseman who is still developing and coming into his own and he’s getting the chance to play with and learn from a defenseman who is regarded as one of the best in NHL history. That’s just cool as hell.

This picture will never not be my favorite. Because of everything Amy just said. The attention he give Lidstrom. You know he’s taking in every word Lids is saying. Every piece of advice Lids can give him. And who better to learn from? Honestly, Brendan will be an amazing defenseman because he gets to learn from the best.
